I'm your host, Wayne Robinson, and if you don’t know me yet… well, buckle up.

I’m not just the guy behind the mic — I’m the real-life ER nurse who's seen it all: the absurd, the outrageous, the downright disturbing, and the occasionally heartwarming (but we try not to dwell on that part). After more than a decade in the trenches of the Emergency Department, I figured it was time to stop trauma-dumping on my coworkers and start trauma-podcasting for the masses.

This show is my love letter to the night shift. It’s for the nurses, the docs, the techs, the medics — anyone who's ever had to MacGyver a splint out of popsicle sticks or wrestle a belligerent patient into four-point restraints while still pretending they're “a customer.” If you’ve ever questioned your life choices while elbow-deep in bodily fluids, congratulations — you’re among friends.

But Mayhem, Malpractice & Bourbon isn’t just hospital horror stories and dark humor (though you’ll get plenty of that). It’s also a place for catharsis, laughter, and unapologetic truth-telling. Every episode, I’ll be bringing you stories from the front lines, jaw-dropping patient encounters, and behind-the-scenes chaos — all served with a neat pour of top-tier bourbon and a dash of reckless honesty.

Some episodes will feature guests: fellow night-shift survivors, medical misfits, maybe even the occasional Bigfoot sighting. Just me, my guest, the mic, and whatever fresh hell walked through triage that week.
